How do I request an offer? General
In order to be able to create a meaningful offer in the area of individual software/software development, we have to get a complex picture of the individual project. This is not usually done by typing a few numbers into a mask and receiving a printout of a finished offer, as may well be the case with existing software. Every software project is a tailor-made project with countless adjustment screws. In order to be able to estimate the time required and thus the scope of the order, we have to put ourselves into the project, think through various possibilities and discuss them. This process is very time-consuming for us, but necessary, because it is the only way we can present reliable figures and fulfill our price guarantee. In order to receive a quote from us, the first step is to present the project to us. This can be done in person or by delivering a specification sheet. I. d. R. we arrange a personal appointment and receive the specification sheet before the quotation. Appointments can be made with us at any time via the contact form or by telephone. If a specification sheet already exists, it can be sent to us directly by e-mail to info@tenmedia.de. Depending on the time required, it may be necessary for us to charge a flat rate of one working day for the technical planning as part of the quotation preparation, which will be charged when the project is accepted. Of course we would discuss this in advance.
How long does it take to receive an offer? General
After presenting the product, we are able to create an offer within 5 to 14 days, depending on the size of the project. In urgent cases, we can free up additional ressources in order to swiftly create the offer, of course.
What does the process from introducing to the finished project look like? General
The typical process for software projects looks like this: 1. Getting in touch with us via e-mail or phone (free). 2. Appointment for introducing through phone (free). 3. Personal meet-up in our office facilities. 4. Preparation of an offer by us (free of charge or lump-sum payment for technical concept as agreed) 5. Joint project launch (down payment of 30%). 6. Iterative processing of tasks, frequent exchange of progress and possible modifications and suggestions. 7. Final presentation of the software application and transfer.
Do I have to accept an offer? General
No, offers are always non-binding.
How do you set your invoice amounts and prices? General
Our prices are calculated according to our hourly rate and are billed by the minute. Prices for flat-rate services and projects specified in our offers are binding for us due to our price guarantee. We are by no means out to send out 1-minute invoices. Thus we see telephone inquiries or corrections at running sides usually as pure goodwill achievement. If costs are incurred, we will inform you in advance without being asked.
Do you offer reduced hourly rates for charitable projects? General
Yes, we do offer heavily reduced or even completely free software- and webdevelopment services (Charity Coding) for charitable projects.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements (NDA)? General
Especially founders and future business projects frequently ask us to sign NDAs. NDAs to protect concepts are unusual for us, though. As a software agency, we are involved in the technical realization of applications, portals etc. Since we manage our own (software, cloud-, web-) projects plus the innumerable projects that are given to us, overlaps of the relevant parts of the web projects are preprogrammed. We will gladly sign NDAs about "real" and patentable technical innovations, research results and to protect the names of investors and founders, investment sums etc. We do not sign NDAs about the aforementioned reasons about concepts and ideas.
When do I have to pay the purchase price? General
We offer various payment possibilities. Usually, before/at project launch, 30% of the agreed purchase price must be paid. Since we also offer payments through monthly rates and code for equity, our payment terms are flexible and can adapt to the project.
How long does it take for my project to go live? General
For complete individual software projects, i.e. conception, design and implementation of a user interface/client, frontend and backend, we usually plan four to nine months for contract conclusion to handover of keys. For pure API solutions (synchronization of database/service A with database/service B), we typically plan four to ten weeks. In order to keep to our schedules, the client's input and short communication and decision-making paths are indispensable. In addition, we plan for a generous test phase.
Are you looking for colleagues? General

Are all your references listed on your website? General
No, we have been successfully implementing projects of all sizes for companies, associations, public authorities, start-ups, but also major international customers for over 10 years. Our website represents only a fraction of this. If there is interest in a particular technology, there is a good chance that we have already worked with it.
All contact requests are free of charge and non-binding, by phone, e-mail and in person. We are happy about every project and will get back to you as soon as possible.
