Modern assessment tool for preventive care
The Project
For the Stiftung Zentrum für Qualität in der Pflege (ZQP), a native Windows assessment instrument for preventive care counselling was created. The application captures and structures large volumes of data under special data protection restrictions and can be used on desktop and tablet PCs.
It was implemented as a native Microsoft UWP application with native C# elements and React Native, freely available via the foundation website and the Microsoft Store. The outcome is a lean, privacy-compliant tool that supports care quality in preventive counselling.
The Challenge
Assessment interviews in preventive care counselling generate large volumes of data that must be structured and protected. What was needed was a user-friendly instrument that works under special data protection restrictions, runs on desktop and tablet PCs alike, and guides counsellors through the interview instead of occupying them with form fields.
Our Technologies
We developed a native Microsoft UWP application from native C# elements, complemented by React Native. The application runs on desktop and tablet PCs and is freely available via the foundation website and the Microsoft Store. The combination of native and cross-platform components keeps the application lean and the handling smooth on touch and keyboard alike, with updates reaching users automatically through the store.
