The fair online job board with e-assessment centre
The Project
More than 300,000 advertised positions, connected to numerous job portals, and an integrated e-assessment centre. With this, Biamu matched applicants and companies precisely. At its heart was a stable database and server architecture that reliably processed large volumes of data and stayed in sync with the portals via interfaces such as a REST API. Backend and frontend were consistently designed for this data throughput. A job board became a fair matching system.
The Challenge
More than 300,000 positions from numerous job portals need to be kept current, not just stored. What was required was a database and server architecture that reliably synchronises this inventory, serves interfaces such as a REST API stably and at the same time supplies the e-assessment centre with structured aptitude data, with consistently fast responses for job seekers.
Our Technologies
The backend ran on PHP, JavaScript brought the frontend to life, MySQL and MariaDB carried the job inventory. The interface was built on Bootstrap and Joomla, but the data layer was decisive. Imports from numerous job portals ran through defined interfaces, a REST API provided the inventory in structured form, and the e-assessment centre accessed the same data basis. This kept the six-figure job inventory consistent, no matter which source it came from.
